CHANEL
CHANEL is a luxury fashion house founded in the early 1900s, by Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel. CHANEL was the first fashion house to design corset-free outfits for women and to simplify and functionalise women's clothing. In 1921, CHANEL's first perfume, CHANEL No. 5, was launched. The perfume was an instant success and is still the world's best-selling perfume. CHANEL No. 5 is said to have been the fifth fragrance introduced by perfume designer Ernest Beaux to Coco Chanel. No 5 was launched on 5th of May 1921, and the number five was Coco Chanel's lucky number. The first make-up collection was launched in 1924, including lipsticks and powders, and the first skincare products were launched in 1927
