Transmeri made acquisition of Ibero -company

Ibero is a Finnish family company that focuses on everyday jewellery, beauty & hair accessories, sunglasses etc. Ibero’s team of 17 employees, will be part of Transmeri’s grocery department.

Janne Rautio: “My father founded Ibero in 1951 and I have been in charge of our family company for about 30 years.

I found a family company that continues building Ibero’s success, since I do not have a successor in my own family. I am happy that the new owner is a family company Transmeri with long history. Ibero Oy will become a subsidiary of Transmeri Oy from the beginning of 1.7.2016. Ibero Oy employees continue as before and will be familiar contact persons to clients. My role is to support the new owner in order to ensure successfull transition.”

Transmeri’s managing director Sari Rosin: ”I am happy that Transmeri has opportunity to continue Ibero brands’ success.
